How to cook out {Easy}
We use a small round Weber dome top grill for a lot of the cooking we do for ourselves. It's an oldie but a goodie and we use charcoal and wood to cook in it.
This is one of our favorites "Mild sausage with peppers and onion cooked in beer"
For four people get 8 large sausage links, 2 green peppers, 1 red pepper, 1 sweet onion, 2 cans of beer and buns. Light a small charcoal pile in the middle of the grill and place a large cast iron skillet ( we have a really big one) over the coals. Pour in one can of beer and place the sausage in the skillet and let cook for 30 minutes and pour in the other beer as needed. Dice up the peppers and onion and toss in the skillet. Put the top on the grill and let cook for 15-20 minutes (season to taste). You can toast the buns or brown the sausage on the grill around the skillet. Give them the tongs, point to the buns and let them eat.
This is a super easy one pan cleanup meal for the backyard or camp.
Warning: Cast iron skillets get very hot, take a long time to cool and are very heavy
